Training Aids - The Impact Bag!
When using this bag, attempt to hit the bag with the shaft of the club striking the top of the bag first. Do not hit the bag with the clubhead! This movement will greatly help your weight shift, body rotation, and will allow a forward shaft lean at impact. This will add quite a few yards to your irons. This movement will also transfer to your woods after practicing with your irons. Try it you'll be glad you did!
If you feel too embarrassed to take this out on the range with you, use it in your backyard, it will still do there job it was designed for!
I use it in my living room as I have very high ceilings and can take a full swing. If you have high ceilings or a basement, go ahead a do that. Anything to help you gain more distance!
