The EyeLine Golf Putting Mirror is a small acrylic mirror that gives you a full view of your putting setup and alignment. This simple training aid gives you direct feedback on the alignment of your eyes, shoulders, and forearms. Thus, helping you get a consistent setup and results. This month’s video golf tip explains why the EyeLine Golf Putting Mirror has become my favorite training aid for putting.
If you are serious about your golf, there are 3 things you must have in your golf bag. 2 Alignment Sticks, a Range Finder, and a Putting Mirror. If you are missing any one of those three items, go out and purchase them. If you expect to get any better, use them.
Eye Position.
The putting mirror has a black line right through the middle of the putting mirror. This ensures that your eyes will be in the correct position if you place your eyes on that line.
Forearms.
Hold the putter fully extended out in front of you. Then, bend forward from the waist until your putter touches the ground. This ensures that your forearms match and guarantee that your shoulders are perfectly square at address—a critical position to allow the putter to move straight back and straight through.
Putter Face Alignment.
There is a red line to place the putter's face on. This ensures that the putter face is at 90 degrees to the intended line. Critical to hitting the ball where you want it to go!
